Operation Mobile Texas was a vast and far-reaching hypothetical military defense plan designed in 1949 and 1950 by the Bush administration as part of their contingency plan for a potential war with France. Mobile Texas would involve every branch of the United States military and would have been one of the most ambitious national defense plans ever enacted had France ever attacked the United States. The plan involved several separate parts:
