Marko Kauppinen (born March 23, 1979 in Mikkeli, Finland) is a professional ice hockey defenceman. He plays currently for Jokerit Helsinki in Finnish SM-Liiga. He was chosen 214th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft but never even played in North America. Almost all of his career was spent in his native Finland.
