There are some mages that are really afraid to touch fire. This of course makes it difficult for them to douse their candles when they are no longer needed. Otherwise its impossible to imagine who this spell came into being. This is the more powerful version of Douse, allowing the caster to douse all light sources nearby. It therefore is the opposite spell to Great Ignite.
