Ubisoft Sofia is video game development studio located in Sofia, Bulgaria, operated by publisher Ubisoft. Ubisoft Sofia is also known as Ubisoft Bulgaria. The company was founded in June 2006 following the success of Ubisoft Romania team. The managing director of Ubisoft Romania was the first head of this new studio. Currently, a number of 120 developers work at the company. Ubisoft Sofia is responsible for eleven ported games and one game published in-house, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation and the HD version of the game.
