Trevor Challis is a left back who played for Rovers between 1998 and 2003. Challis was spotted as a 14 year old by scouts from Arsenal who invited him to their Centre of Excellence. He joined Queens Park Rangers aged 16 as YTS apprentice before turning pro in 1994. He broke into the first team in late 1995 and went on to make 11 Premiership appearances that season. Disaster struck the following season when he suffered a bad knee injury in a match against Norwich City.
