The Seed of Corruption is a vile growth found in the Fissure of Woe during the Restore the Temple of War quest. They are used by the Shadow Army to infuse their weapons with dark damage and it is also used by them to taint the fires of the Forge inside the Temple of War. In the quest Restore the Temple of War, players are to destroy these creatures if the Eternal Forgemaster is to be able to craft them any armor.
