Shahrukh Khan (born 2 November 1965), often credited as Shah Rukh Khan and informally referred as SRK, is an Indian film actor. In 2000 he appeared in Season 1 and won 5 000 000 rupees. In 2007 he hosted Series 3 of Kaun Banega Crorepati in place of Amitabh Bachchan after Bachchan fell ill. Fortunately, Bachchan got better and was able to return in Series 4. He was offered to play the role of the Millionaire host in Slumdog Millionaire, but decided to turn it down. The role eventually went to Anil Kapoor. To this day, Khan does not regret his decision, despite the success of the film.
