Roger Clarke (played by Geoffrey Hutchings) was the husband of Linda Clarke and father of Jane and Christian Clarke. He and Linda lived in Florida for many years and hardly ever saw his children, but when Linda left Florida, due to Roger having an affair with a nurse called Marion. He eventually came to Walford in search of Linda and came to the doorstep of Ian Beale and his daughter, Jane, on February 3, 2009. When he explained himself, he saw Linda and told her that, he and Marion had parted ways and he wanted Linda back. He also explained that it didn't mean anything and he would change. When he said all this, he said come back with me to Florida. Linda accepted. So on the 6th February 2009, he and Linda went back to Florida.
