The School of the Ivory Fan was the first acting troupe and school of the Scorpion Clan. It was founded by Shosuro Furuyari, a famous Scorpion Clan actor and playwright. The troupe started by performing to village headmen and similar low-ranking folk, but in it's first thirty years, it's popularity grew and they performed for many high-ranking individuals such as daimyo, Champions or even the Emperor himself. The troupe continued performing even after Furuyari's death, entertaining the highest echelons of the nobles.
