Some Monkey Hospital, called the Monkey Regional Hospital in the manga and a “backwoods children’s hospital” in the dub, was the hospital where a young Hinako Ninomiya was hospitalized as a child. A decade ago, Happosai found her there and decided to help her. He did this by pressing the pressure points for energy absorption and teaching her a series of therapeutic exercises. This enabled her to absorb the energy of others, which turned out to be that of the angry nurses chasing after Happosai for stealing their underwear. Nonetheless the new capabilities also helped Hinako’s health to improve and she was eventually able to leave.
