In the year 2376, Kira Nerys, Kasidy Yates, Ro Laren and Yevir Linjarin used the Euphrates to travel to Bajor, where they beamed down to B'hala. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book Two) Two weeks later, Julian Bashir, Ezri Dax, Taran'atar and Ro Laren used the Euphrates to travel to the planet Sindorin. Ro chose the Euphrates for its maneuverability in turbulent atmospheres like Sindorin's. After arriving at Sindorin, the Euphrates was badly damaged in an attack by an orbital weapon platform and ships loyal to Ethan Locken. The ship crashed on the surface, but survived the impact.
