Aimée Lauren Rose, also known mononymously as Aimee, is an English singer-songwriter, musician, and composer. Born and raised in London throughout most of her life; she was born to Lucy White (mother) and Paul Payne(father). Her mother was a single parent, as Aimée's father walked out of both her and her mother's life when she was 8 months old. Aimee launched her music career following her gradution from the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in 2007. She began recording demos and covers and started posting them on various social networking sites. By 2009, she began writing for other artists, and she co-wrote the 2009 hit-single 'Russian Roulette' by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. Aimée also went on to write songs for artists such as Taio Cruz, Jay Sean, and Britney Spears.
