Mesmer Ascalon armor is a semi-core armor art for mesmers, avaiable in both Prophecies and Factions. Newly-created mesmers in Prophecies begin with a set of this armor called "Dilettante's "; the headgear uses the Discreet Mask art and is called "Mesmer Mask".
