Simone Gloria Loveday, played by Jacqueline Boatswain, made her first on-screen appearance on 20 February 2015. The basis of the character was announced on 15 November 2014, whist details about the character, including the name and casting were announced on 10 February 2015. Simone's introductory storyline saw her introduce herself to Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) and tell her that she is the new boss of Price Slice.
