Sōgaku Chin first appears in Battle 547 alongside several other Yami weapon masters. He is an middle aged to elderly monk who uses a Monk's Spade. Later he is sent after the disciples and ends up fighting Hermit, Berseker and Ryūto Asamiya who are able to defeat him with their combined attacks.
