Newday is relatively a young Autobot, and acts like she was just Protoformed though she was on the Nemesis as a Prisoner that Airwave took (Although Airwave says he doesn't take Prisoners, only Trophies), that later Autobots Airazor,Moonrunner,Sunswipe and Redbot found.
