In his only appearance, the head of the Zone spent part of Hallowe'en 1998 telling Tails about the Skeleton Crew and how they rose every fifty years to unleash chaos. The pensioner remembered hushed whispers of their last visit and wasn't surprised when the ghosts turned up in the most unexpected places. Tails was able to thwart their antics by taking them across the planet where midnight had already happened. After this, the Zone Leader thanked Tails (whilst wearing an umbrella on his head) and hoped the hero would be around when the Skeleton Crew returned.
