After a misunderstanding, Marge is arrested. Homer then has to take care of the kids himself and actually becomes a better father in the process, fixing Lisa's hair, putting Maggie to bed, and completing Bart's last minute assignment. Once Marge is released she becomes jealous of Homer's mothering skills and they have a competition to see who is better but Homer still wins. Homer decides itss better for Marge to be the mother and resumes being the drunk man we all know and love.
