During the Invasion of Naboo, the Pikachus declared war with the Trade Federation after realizing that they were going to attempt to exterminate the Pikachu clans. In a move led by Chieftain Raichu, the Pikachus surrendered themselves and were put in a net as they were prepared to be killed. However, at the last moment, Raichu gave the signal to attack and a Pikachu managed to cut the net and destroy the B1 droids. The other Pikachus also managed to escape the net and went on a massive battle. Members of the Yellow Squadron went to their ARC-170 starfighters at the Pika battle stations to deal with the Droid Control Ship on the planet's surface.
