Introduced in the Into the Darkness event, Alchemy Gems, which offer an alternative to Life Magic buffs, were created as a result of Hiro, Arcanum Artificer's research, with a little help from Ciandra. The process is described in The New Alchemy. Creation uses Alchemy. Creation is a standard crafting skill check. After crafted, the gems can be given and traded.
