Jack was a parachuter who base-jumped off a building in inner-Vancouver with Jill. During the jump, Jack was attacked by a Pteranodon, which dragged him back to the rooftop, where it gruesomely killed Jack by dismembering him; pecking his eyes out and consuming his organs from his chest. Jack's mutilated remains were found at the bottom of the building the next day by the police. (The New World)
