Dieter IV von Krieglitz was the last Emperor of the von Krieglitz line. He is best known for the scandalous affair in which he sold Marienburg its independence for vast amounts of gold. After this came to light, he was quickly replaced by Wilhelm, Prince of Altdorf. After his deposition, he was made Grand Duke of Talabecland.
