Shaykh Abdur Rahman, also known as Abdur Rahman Shaykh, (died March 30, 2007) was the spiritual leader and the administrative head of the banned terrorist organization Jagrata Muslim Janata Bangladesh (). On 2 March 2006, Rahman was captured from the northeastern city of Sylhet, at Muktagasa, after a massive 32-hour-long manhunt. [1]. Along with 5 other militants, Rahman was executed by hanging on 30 March 2007.
