Launch Earth Satellite is a project in Civilization VI and the first step toward winning a Science Victory. It becomes available after researching Rocketry and building a Spaceport. A city must have a Spaceport to undertake this project. Once completed, it launches a satellite into space that provides the player with visibility of the entire map.
