Schools whose names are italicized are no longer in Division I, and can no longer be included in the tournament. The following records include games that have been vacated due to NCAA rules violations. *The University of Michigan vacated wins while four players (Chris Webber, Maurice Taylor, Robert Traylor and Louis Bullock) were not eligible, including 11 NCAA tournament wins from 1992, 1993, 1996, and 1998.
