Corporal John Scampi, nicknamed Shrimp for his surname and relatively small size (for an ODST), was an ODST in the UNSC Marine Corps. He served in Task Force Bravo under First Lieutenant Brian Hartley. He acted as the machine-gunner for the team, mostly aided by fellow team member Adam Hadhoud who served as his spotter, finding enemies for Scampi to fire at.
