Material packs are items that could be received from the Squeal of Fortune/Treasure Hunter which contains a variety of skill materials; there is also a chance for an additional reward. For the time they existed on the Squeal of Fortune, the packs replaced either the medium (for small crates) or huge (large crates) experience lamps. Material packs were discontinued from RuneScape on 14 July 2014. Material crates of the same type don't stack in bank.
