Summer Collections are Historical Character sub-collections that consist of tie-ins to theSummer Books for Historical Characters. The original accessories (through Kit Kittredge) focused on the summer activities for the characters; for example, Kirsten Larson has a fishing set and Samantha Parkington has a painting set. Because of Kaya's culture, she does not follow the typical pattern. She therefore does not have a summer collection.
