Gold Spider is a menace to any and all sailors that have to pass by the coastal waters of the desert nation of Thuvia. Despite her name, given to her by fearful sailors, Golden Spider is no arachnid, but rather a powerful azi dragon known as a gandareva. She is a stealthy and murderous hunter, known for her uniquely frightening hunting technique where she comes up beneath a smaller vessel, rolls onto her back, wraps her arms around the ship then pulls it under the water. The technique is brutally effective, leaving almost no trace of the ship and for the most part no survivors.
