The Clockwork Pantalettes is apparently a play by Feydeau wherein [ the old "bring her family back from the grave" gambit] [[Chronology - Volume #|✣ ]] is used but that is [ such a cliche] [[Chronology - Volume #|✣ ]] that it didn't help it escape awful reviews. Clearly, this is a case of life imitating art—bad art, but art just the same.
