Arthur "Art" Fletcher (January 5, 1885 - February 6, 1950) was an American Major League Baseball shortstop, manager and coach. He began his career with the New York Giants in 1909, and played in four World Series. He was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in 1920, and retired from play in 1922. He became the Phillies manager for four disasterous seasons from 1923-1926. After he was let go by the Phillies, he was hired as a coach by the New York Yankees in in 1927, and remained there unitl 1945. In this position, he was able to be part of some of the Yankees best years.
