Hiram Lincoln (d. 1915) was a Confederate cavalry officer during the Great War, and Corporal Stephen Ramsay's commanding officer. A captain when the war broke out, Lincoln led his men in a raid upon Kingman, Kansas, where they were successful in demolishing railway tracks. When a US armored car intervened, however, Lincoln saw a third of his company killed, and another third wounded before the vehicle was taken down. In life, Hiram Lincoln was somewhat self-concious about his last name: even 50 years after the War of Secession, Abraham Lincoln was a hated man in the CSA.
