Ryu Hoshi (星リュウ Hoshi Ryū?) is the Red Terra Ranger, the Red Ranger of the Terra Rangers and the leader of the team. Ryu is a skilled martial artist who is very humble and respectful towards his allies. Good and kind-natured, Ryu often shows others that being a hero is more than just fame and having a reputation, but gives people the responsibility in protecting the city and everyone around it. As the Red Terra Ranger, he gains the element of Fire.
