Confrontation Between Gibbs, Ziva and Roland Ames is a confrontation that occurred in January 2013 in which NCIS Special Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Ziva David confronted assassin Roland Ames who was responsible for the Attack on the Vance House. Despite Gibbs and Ziva's efforts, Ames committed suicide by ingesting a cigarette laced with poison into his own mouth which resulted in his death seconds later.
