A picturesque city south of Yokohama and Tokyo known for its shrines and seashore overlooking Sagami Bay. Hitomi's high school is located in the north part of Kamakura. Early production drafts had Hitomi and company going to Shounan (Syonan) High School. Shounan is another city outlying Tokyo.
