The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) is a plurilateral agreement in negotiation, outside of WIPO, between developed nations such as the U.S., EU, Japan, Australia and Canada that would increase the strength of intellectual property enforcement. The ACTA process has been strongly criticized for its secrecy.
