Jenkins, after years aboard The Jonah, died in a series of bizarre and incredibly painful accidents, including being shot in the back with an arrow, having his ribs turned to bananas, and then having his ribs ripped out by monkeys. He continued to suffer this until he finally died in what Smith of Mos Le'Harmless describes as a "mashed potato-coated incident". His lucky cutlass can be purchased from Smith and used as a weapon.
