Valin Horn was a male Human Jedi apprentice, and the son of Corran Horn and Mirax Horn, and was the brother of Jysella Horn. He was based on the secret Jedi planet Eclipse. He and Jysella were picked by Jedi Masters Kyle Katarn and Nathaniel Kenobi Solo to help during the Mission to Korriban. He was assigned to Kyle's group, which included Jaden Korr, Tenel Ka, Hivrekh'wao'cheklev, and Orroz. Their group was attacked by some of Darth Mutatos's alchemical animals and was forced to hide in the Tomb of Ajunta Pall. They returned to Eclipse and served the New Jedi Order for the rest of the war.
