When Ricochet decided to hatch a scheme to capture Megatron, Nightstick was by his side. Megatron arrived at the Temple of Knowledge after receiving what he thought had been a message from Boltax, but Ricochet stepped out of the darkness instead along with his small companion. Megatron was confident that he could easily overcome Ricochet and the diminutive Nightstick. Then, to his surprise, the Nightstick transformed and blasted the Decepticon leader, enabling his capture.
