Archers are level 42 guards for Burthorpe Castle in Burthorpe, and are members of the Imperial Guard. They are not aggressive to players, but when attacked, will defend themselves with Ranged attacks that are fairly accurate and can hit up to 6. They are occasionally trained on by mid-level players looking for their Green d'hide chaps drop. It is not possible to talk to the Archers.The 'Talk-to' option informs the player that "The archer won't talk whilst on duty."
