The DT400 features a bound basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a fixed bridge and tailpiece and gold Sure Grip knobs. The DT400 was offered for only a single year and was sold only in Japan.
