This Fertility Idol of Bast was one of four cat related items located in the store room below the library in Barnett College's museum. The figurine was originally thought to be an ancient Egypttian idol in the likeness of Bast, Goddess of Fertility. In actuality, the idol was an imitation. Indiana Jones came upon the figurine in May 1939 during his search for a horned statue.
