Yate Town and Bristol Rovers have never met in a competitive fixture, but have often played pre-season friendlies against each other. The sides are due to meet again in the 2008-09 pre-season. Yate's Lodge Road ground has staged home games for Bristol Rovers reserves and women's teams.
