Klahy was Chox's clone. Chox was cloned when he was just born, because his parents were afraid that Chox would die because he had a very rare disease. When the disease had passed, the clone was to be raised somewhere else. The government of Urum kept a close eye on both babies in case something would happen, which eventually did when they both skipped the same classes and graduated in the same year. They both went to train in the army, but only Chox was to become captain. Klahy just trained to become a soldier because the government knew that would not be fair. The two did not meet until the invasion of Urum in 201 ABY.
