USS Alliance (NCC-2113) was a Federation-class dreadnought in active Starfleet service in the late 23rd century. As with many of her class, construction of the Alliance was authorized c. 2270 (stardate 6066) (Star Fleet Technical Manual) The dreadnought served as James T. Kirk's flagship when he was named Commander of the Kelvan Theater of Operations in 2285 during the Kelvan War. (Orion Press: In Harm's Way) In "The Nature of the Game", Alliance was said to have been the Federation's last remaining dreadnought.
