The Second Human Covenant war is the second major conflict between the UEG and the Covenant. The War would greatly influence the course of the War for the Mantle of responsibility. This war started after the death of Jul 'Madam's wife. His purpose was to take revenge from the UNSC. This war was baptism of fire for the New UNSC Navy asset surch as the Vindication-class battleship and the Augustus-class Assault Ship. Much of the battles took part witting the UEG colonies and some of the Covenant colonies. During this war the UNSCDF was able to inflict major casualties to the Covenant Remnant by using it new asset. The biggest battle of this war was Operation Ares a full scale invasion of Gliese 581 in november 2556.
