Lacey was born in London to Derek and Emily Sherman. Both her parents Muggles, she didn't have a clue that she was a witch until a weirdly dressed person showed up at their place to explain Hogwarts and what she was. At first her parents weren't all that keen on sending their middle child to a magical school, but relented when Lacey begged.
