They debuted in the Serie A during the 1947-48 season, finishing in second place, while third came the following season. In 1949-50 season, they finished in second place again. Two years later, Amatori Milano increased cooperation with their former organization, HC Milano, and enrolled in the Serie B. They won the Serie B championship in three consecutive seasons (in 1957-58, 1958-59 and 1959-60), however they never returned to the top-level Serie A.
