The Venator-class Star Destroyer Warspite was a typical ship-of-the-line constructed during the last days of the Galactic Republic, and employed into service under the Imperial rule of Emperor Palpatine. It was most well-known for its deployment under the command of Admiral (then Commodore) Dergan Roj between 4 BBY and 2 ABY. She was under the command of Caleb Anson, a Corellian and disciple of Garm Bel Iblis and it took very little convincing from Orton Trissard to convince Anson to defect, along with nearly all of Warspite's crew.
