Trooper Philippi was a Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet soldier who took part in the battle with House Bharaputra's forces when Mark Vorkosigan tried to use them to rescue Bharaputra's clone children. She was killed in the initial battle, then put into a cryochamber. When Miles Vorkosigan was killed soon after, she was taken from the chamber so that he could be put there in her place. Note: Her name is also given as Phillipi.
